New Scopus CiteScore for Folia Medica, Journal Moved From Q4 to Q3 in General Medicine Category

19 June 2026

The 2025 Scopus CiteScore for Folia Medica has been released, reporting an improved value of 1.3, up from 1.1 in 2024. The journal now ranks in Q3 in General Medicine in Scopus, compared to Q4 in 2024.

Traditionally announced in June, the Scopus CiteScore is a dynamic academic metric estimated for each journal indexed in Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, reflecting citation rates over the past four full calendar years. The 2025 CiteScore reflects data from 2022 to 2025. Scopus also maintains the CiteScoreTracker, which offers a monthly update incorporating citation data from the ongoing year. For Folia Medica, the current CiteScoreTracker draws on content published from 2023 through the latest complete month of 2026, offering a more immediate view of the journal's citation dynamics.

The latest Scopus CiteScore and CiteScoreTracker are automatically displayed on the journal website's homepage and in its newsletter.
